A new favorite

I am constantly coming up with my most recent favorite pictures of Jackson. This is another one from his afternoon bath on the 4th of July. I'm having fun playing around with different conversions in Photoshop too. I had him in our bathtub where the bright afternoon light was coming in from the window (as I learn more about photography, I am learning how helpful natural light is for a good shot). When he looked at this picture the other day he said, "Bubble!"





It's so true when they say kids add multiple words to their vocabulary a day. He's in that stage right now. Understanding many of them is a whole different story! It took me a few days to figure out "boppy" was bunny. I think one of my favorites right now is TURTLE. It comes out "tur...tul" -- okay, so typing it doesn't do it justice. But it's too cute! He can now ask to go "outside" (ouside) and has started saying "night night: (nigh nigh) And.....drumroll please....he MIGHT be started to actually refer to Cody with a name, which he has never done. A few times he's said, "Bye bye Co" or "Bye bye Co Co". Get excited, Cody!
