Jackson decided it was time to move from his crib into his big boy bed! I hadn't planned on moving him until next month. But we've been reading books in his new room, since he loves his bed and beding so much, and last night he said, "I want to sleep here". And that was that. He went right to sleep on the pull out trundle without a fuss or getting up at all. He did wake up crying around midnight, so I laid with him for awhile (okay, more than awhile - about 1.5 hours because I fell asleep). But after that, he slept just fine on his own until 7:15am when he came walking into the kitchen. He looked a bit confused, but we told him how proud we were!
I was able to snap this shot before he woke up this morning.
And this was from tonight, before bed. Tonight was a little tougher. He came out of his room three times, and I kept having to bring him back. But he insisted he didn't want to sleep in his crib instead. So, I laid down with him - intending to be there for just a few minutes...but pregnant mommy fell asleep for an hour (I fell asleep before he did!). Oops. But, now he's in there snoozing away. Let's hope this transition continues to go pretty smoothly!
