First dinner outside

It was a beautiful day and even though it started to cool off, Jackson and I had our first dinner out on the patio. He loved getting to eat outside - something fun and different.

The other excitement right now (although "exciting" might not be the right word...sigh...) is that Jackson has decided he's such a big boy that it's time to climb out of the crib. Oh yes. I knew the day was coming, but part of me hoped it wouldn't. He climbed out for the first time Wednesday at naptime when I was off work. He's done it several times since then (and didn't even get a nap today because of it all), but he's never done it at night (KNOCK ON WOOD!). We've made sure to put him to bed when he's pretty wiped out, so he doesn't fight going to sleep too much. The big transition will be to his big boy bed...which we still have yet to buy!
