Desperate times call for desperate measures. As I posted recently, Jackson started climbing out of his crib last week. We still need to get his "big boy bed" and furniture for his new room (the current guest room). But since we don't have it yet, and honestly, I am not ready to have him give up the crib, we bought a crib tent. It wasn't on yet last night, and he woke up just before midnight, and wouldn't stay in. So, Daddy put Jackson in bed with me, and he slept in the guest room. Although sleeping with my sweet baby boy is a nice treat, it's defintely NOT an ideal option in this house. So, this morning after he woke up, I made a BIG DEAL about his new TENT, and how COOL it will be to have a tent ON HIS BED! And he "helped" put it on. And so far, I think he's bought into it! Gammy came over to watch him today, and although it took him awhile to fall asleep at naptime, he finally did and slept for 2.5 hours. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. (For now at least....)
Some pics from this morning:
Sleeping where he shouldn't be....

But how SWEET is he?!

Testing out the tent for the first time
